“O” is for One, Opera, Ollie The One Eyed Octopus and a Real Mirror

Good evening lovely Travellers,

How did you fare today on this fine Monday? It’s abit overcast here and gloomy and windy and chilly and well, Fall. First day I’ve adorned myself with a sweater. And there is a chill drifting over the hard wood floors in the house, which means there’s only 5 months till we are back to Spring!!

Let’s talk about “O”…and by the way, in case you have just stumbled into this space, on Mondays we wear pink! No, on Monday’s we use our imaginations to invoke fun and frivolity. We remind ourselves that the world is filled with all the joys of our childhood if we just take a moment and pause to engage that part of our minds.

“J” is for Joy, Juicy and flying about in a Heli-J

Happy Monday Travellers,

Are you feeling rested yet? It’s always most unfortunate to arrive at Monday morning and be exhausted from your weekend. Do you know what I mean? Maybe you’re just exhausted from your life, because that also happens and Monday somehow takes the blame. I haven’t really greeted this morning in the finest of moods myself, but we walked under a sky that only Monet could have painted and gladness planted a little seed inside my soul. Pretty sure that’s called hope…

Let’s be good sports here and ease our minds and weary souls with a little imagination exercise…in case you are unfamiliar with this situations, please see the past Monday’s posts, here, here, here and here  just for starters… E-I can be found trailing not too far behind with some browsing…

It began with laughter…

Here we are yet again Travellers,

This morning’s walk can be summed up in a few words: humid, cotton candy clouded, and all the damn bunnies. This is not only the first day of summer that I would call humid, but up until this week, I though perhaps the bunny population was not going to explode this year. Not only was I wrong, but I believe we passed by two bun buns who were going  to make more of them this morning…good grief…

I always marvel at the way certain experiences in our life stick like taffy in the corners of our mind. Sometimes it’s a random conversation or encounter that you think afterwards, that’s worth remembering and then you mentally dog ear that page of memory until it’s time. Time for you to use the information or recount the memory to other humans. I’m pretty sure this is how storytelling was born.

Let me tell you a little one…

What I know…

Good morning Travellers,

I awoke this morning in the mid- 5 o’clock hour, to cloud filled skies that gave way to a semi serious down pour. No walking this morning. But I was able to crack open the windows and fill the house with the smell of rain with a side of humidity…it’s gonna be the last rain we have for a spell, so I’m okay with my morning schedule being skewed today…

Last night, let’s talk about last night…in the evening, after I ate dinner, I went down stairs and got two chocolate chip cookies and milk for dessert..

This is for all of you people who haven’t seen anything good today…

Good evening Travellers,

After my Au revior to Mopsy, I had to take a beat. It’s still hard to believe that she is gone. Again. I find myself opening my front door each morning for her. Really it’s a “Just in case” open door, because you just never know… Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps…

Life moves on though and we still need to find a way to have a giggle, don’t we?
